Great place. No waiting time just straight in for my X Ray. Parking isn't free so you might want to park outside.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Clean building. Short waiting times. Always had a very good experience here. NHS at its finest.

I worked here for nearly 20 years as a member of a mental health community team based in various locations around the site. Fond memories of this beautiful, atmospheric place which is part of the fabric of our social history. It actually started life as a prisoner of war camp for French prisoners from the American war of independence and the Napoleonic wars. Note the carved stone plaque written in French. The Glenside part of the hospital is now the health and social care campus for UWE. I came in early on my very last day and walked around the site taking these pictures. Enjoy.
Trained there in the late 1950's -1961. I lived in the nurses home which was the prison cells for French prisoners, donkeys years ago. I have many happy memories doing my training.
