Great cooked breakfasts, plenty of drinks. Polite, courteous and helpful as well appropriately dressed staff. All food is served hot with: fresh and very good quality ingredients. Live music as in live bands, not a dance club where you dance off your head and get stupid drunk. Staff are also good to talk to. Plenty of chairs. Comfortable looking interior and very good hygiene 5 stars. All customers are talked to nicely, nobody is talked down to. Nothing wrong with the night club. Cannot blame the owners for the bad bunch of people that go there. This is meant to be a place where people talk and properly date. This is not a place for people who do not want meaningful relationships as this is a place for romantics and people who want them to be long lasting as well as the commitment.
Bit of a dump but the only local nightclub

Carsons Road, Mangotsfield, Bristol BS16 9LW, UK – 0117 956 5501
This used to be a cheap good test of golf but has slowly risen in price over the last few years. Far better courses are available through Tee off Times and for less money. Unfortunately Shortwood Lodgr has a very relaxed dress code policy so expect to see anything from hi viz jackets to jeans and trainers. We also witnessed a 5 and a 6 ball group on the same day!
Ok little course greens could have been in slightly better condition

Come down and see us this evening for an informal "do" to welcome Sam (our new manager) and Neil.

This is a good venue for pool and snooker if you are looking to play for a reasonable price. However it could do with a updated look and a complete refurbishment tables are okay but are worn and not always true. It does feel dated inside. Food and drink is reasonably priced and you pay for how ever long you wish to stay. Staff are friendly and there is pool cues you can use for the pool tables although none of them are that good. Overall I would recommend it as it is reasonably priced and good for a few relaxed games of pool and not too busy.
Cheap and cheerful. Good place for a pint and a game of pool. Sometimes they do food too, not gordon Ramsey but it fills a hole

High St, Bristol BS15 3EJ, UK – 0117 967 5948
Cheap, cool and the best songs play while you can either play football in the indoor or outdoor pitch or play on the playstation!
A good space, a little run down but very roomy and usable.
Thicket Rd, Bristol BS16 4EH, UK – 0117 903 8346
It's one of the only if the only place to be in hillfields for the people in the area. Be better review if the council put some money into it.
