Nice place to hang out on a Saturday night. They have live entertainment on Wednesday and Saturday nights. I am not too much into jazz but a nice thing to hear during the middle of the week. Saturday nights vary on the entertainment. I have heard some good singers here. Nice quiet place where you can actually have a conversation. Cheap prices for drinks is a bonus.
Friendly atmosphere. Thank you!

Being a senior member of this club. I find it hard to understand why we can't get new members. Please don't let the name put you off. It's a warm friendly and safe place to take your family and friends. The more who join the better the club will become. It has been going for 117 years. As a landmark in fishponds it would be a shame to see it go. come along and try it you may be surprised.

I learnt to play golf here, forty years ago. I like to play it occasionally for the good memories and to massage my ego! It's a good course to learn on because it's like a longer 'pitch 'n' putt' course and there are no difficult holes to catch you out. However, the course maintenance is very poor, with long grass on the fairways, unmaintained bunkers and very slow greens. To be fair, it's also pretty cheap to play. The course and catering seem to have gone backwards under the present owners, although the cosmetics of the clubhouse have been greatly improved. I recommend it for beginners. Play, learn and move on to one of the many beautiful and well maintained courses around Bristol.
Ignore the negative comments about prices on this. Great price for what it is. Lovely course for the beginning golfer. Some challenging holes and a relaxed , friendly club house. Only downside is that the Greens could do with some work.

A collection of 9 Disc Golf baskets. A great place to practice as all of the baskets can be seen from pretty much anywhere. You can make holes up as you go. As an actual course it doesn't really hold together but good place to hone your skills. Grass can get a little long in the summer and you also get quite a few students sunbathing or playing football.

Great club with excellent facilities and 4 full size snooker tables! You don't find that too often.
