Regularly come here with me and friend. Good price as to be expected with a spoons. Not always the cleanest tables but food comes out quick and hot.

Good atmosphere.. Good value for money regarding drinks and food :)

The Blue Bowl

178 High St, Bristol BS15 3HJ, UK – 0117 961 8836

***** Birthday meal. Came here with my elderly mum , she loves the over 65 menu and I had the fish and chips. The food was amazing and the staff are very helpful and friendly. My mum insisted on paying and one lovely lady helped her carry the drinks from the bar, much to my surprise. Youngsters aren’t all they’re made out to be. The staff working were a young team and had fanatic manners, this will be our new place to go in Hanham for sure. Cheap and cheerful, not sure what else you’d want.

Ive lived on the high street for many years and seen this pub go through much turmoil in the past. It’s finally nice to see and re use as our local again. The new manager has done a grand job of getting the place back to normal and the food is much better these days. I will admit I think the toilets need looking at some more but that’s the least of my worries. The pub has sectioned off an area for sports watchers which my husband loves the idea. Keep it up- it would be nice to see some live music over the summer perhaps?

The Old Post Office

786 Fishponds Rd, Bristol BS16 3TT, UK – 0117 965 5730

Lovely atmosphere but staff are a bit slow and never seem to have enough staff on

Tasty, good quality breakfast and lunch at affordable prices. Staff are courteous and polite. A vibrant, buzzy pub for all occasions- whether you’re on your own or with friends and family, it’s a good place for coffee, alcoholic beverages and the go to place to watch sports on multiple sceeens.
