PreSchools and Playgroups for Hanham

Warmley Pre School

20 Deanery Rd, Bristol BS15 4NB, UK – 07951 309201

My first child went to Warmley preschool and she loves it. She loves it more on the days where she stays lunch club as she gets to eat with the teachers, and that is something she loves. My second child used to cry when her sister was at preschool and would try to get in with the other children. Now she is allowed in, its like she is getting the best thing ever every day. The staff are friendly and informative, they engage with parents which makes you feel part of the preschool. Its lovely when you get a chance to go in and have a play with the children. I'm more than happy with the preschool.

My 2 children go here and love it. Great staff and fantastic preparation for school

Speedwell Nursery School and Children's Centre

Speedwell Rd, Bristol BS5 7SY, UK – 0117 903 0329

I have had great support from here as a mum and my little boy lived the nursery. Support groups, art group and also an allotment group! ☺

Busy Bee Playgroup Pre-school

83 Bath Rd, Longwell Green, Bristol BS30 9DF, UK – 0117 908 3387

Busy Bees is a warm and friendly pre school in Longwell Green. My son settled immediately and loves his mornings there. The staff are all very dedicated and establish great rapports with the children which helps with their development, and the balance between structured and free play is perfect for pre-schoolers.

After School Care

Grimsbury Farm Outreach

Grimsbury Rd, Bristol BS15 9SE, UK – 0117 961 8075

Have taken our grandchild there twice and it's ok for an hour or two, if you include going into the children's play area and something to eat. There are various farm animals which you can, at times, get close to which is always good. There's a car park, with overflow area if it gets busy so parking wasn't an issue. No fee to go in, which is good, though I'm not sure about donations? I've seen lots of pushchairs there and as it's a little up and down, little ones don't have to be able to walk around, they can be pushed.
